The international collective Sound Rebellion deals with the ephemeral, be it in the presence of sacred places, be it in sound. Composed of three organists and one electronic musician, they do sound events: site-specific performances of improvised and conceptualized music with pipe organs and live-electronics. They promote new ways of making sound at the organ with extended techniques and explore new relations between organs and other arts, places, objects and interfaces. In their latest performances, they explored the sonic possibilities of Orgelpark Amsterdam, Kunststation St. Peter Köln and Oudekerk Amsterdam. They frequently collaborate with other artists such as jazz percussionist Aurel Violas. The collective consists of Elisabeth Hubmann (AUT), Giulio Tosti (IT), Michele Del Prete (IT) and Adrian Foster (CA).
